Drifter Coffee NZ is a community based coffee shop located at Unit 1/ 3 George Lowe Place. Nestled between the mechanics of Orewa. Across the road from some epic op shops, we aim to provide great service, coffee and welcoming vibes.
A little oasis from the everyday.
Background
Drifter Coffee NZ started in a retro caravan in 2017, attending markets, private events and music festivals all over the North Island. We managed to get the caravan into such events as SoundSplash and WOMAD, growing slowly and maintaining all the good vibes we still have today.
The coffee shop opened at the start of 2019, lucky chance encounter by my dad. We cleaned up a once grubby and dusty welders workshop and turned it into a space full of comfort, plants and good coffee.
The coffee shop has been growing slowly, with more and more people finding out about the hidden gem among the mechanic shops of Orewa, we cant wait to see where the adventure will take us next!
